In consideration of age and health issues, a decision has been made to form a Consortium with the objective of distributing the horses of Fairfield Farm Continuum. The details of the Consortium are provided below. We are looking for a limited number of individuals or farms who may be interested in becoming Members of this Consortium. At this time, we would like to limit the Members to residents of the Eastern part of The United States, or Canada, i.e. east of the Mississippi River. All Members of the Consortium must be approved by William A. (Buzz) Moore, Jr., who is the owner of the horses of Fairfield Farm.
This is a rare opportunity for essentially a free lease of one or more of the finest Arabian horses of predominantly Crabbet bloodlines in the United States.
If you are interested in being considered to become a Member of this Consortium, please provide your name, address and a brief statement explaining your interest, and e-mail it to Pat Bobb at by April 30, 2025.
Photos and/or videos of the horses will be made available by request.
All inquiries will be responded to and final selection of the Consortium members will be announced by May 15, 2025.

Fairfield Farm Consortium (FFC)
The Fairfield Farm Consortium is a group of individuals who are committed to the preservation of Arabian horses descended from the horses bred and owned by William A. Moore, Jr. of Fairfield Farm Continuum (Hereinafter referred to as “Buzz”). The Members of the Consortium will be chosen by invitation and approval of Buzz.
The Members of the Consortium will select in order, based on a random number generator, from the existing horses at Fairfield Farm Continuum, as designated by Buzz, to be transported to the Member’s farm, at Member’s expense, where they will be used for showing, breeding or other useful purposes.
Ownership of the horses will remain with Buzz, but care and feeding expenses will become the responsibility of the Member.
While with the Member, the horse(s) may be bred to the mare/stallion of the choice of the Member and any offspring will become the property of the Member, unless otherwise agreed, and Member’s name will be recorded on Registration as the Breeder.. Consultation in choosing the selected mate with Buzz is encouraged, but not mandatory. Also, it is requested that the resulting offspring be registered with the FFC prefix to their name to ensure the continuation of the Fairfield Farm Legacy, but this also is not mandatory.
Beginning January 1, 2027, and each January thereafter for the duration of the Consortium, the Members will correspond with each other to determine if any among them would like to add, exchange, or remove any of the original horses. The list of horses included for use by the Consortium is included later in this document. Additional horses may be added to the Consortium by Buzz at any time and sent to a Member as agreed, but none may be removed unless they are no longer wanted by any Consortium Member. Any changes in physical possession of any of the horses will be made with agreement of the members directly involved.
A Member of the Consortium may withdraw at any time as they choose. If they do withdraw whatever Consortium horse(s) in their possession must be either returned to Buzz or transferred to another Member of the Consortium, as agreed by Buzz and said selected member.
The Consortium will be terminated upon the death of all the original Consortium horses or the death of Buzz. In the event of the death of Buzz, any remaining Consortium horses will be transferred to the ownership of the Member having physical possession of the horse at that time. Transfer of ownership will be carried out with the Arabian Horse Registry by the Executor of Buzz’s Estate or other individual having been granted that authority by Buzz.
